11. The Pelikani mobile app

1. 11.1.

   Scope: This policy also covers the Pelikani app for iOS and Android. The app uses the same account and the same data as the Website. This section explains what the app collects beyond what is described above.

2. 11.2.

   Signing in with Google or Apple: When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive the name, email address and account identifier that service shares with us. With Apple you can choose to hide your email; we then receive the relay address Apple creates.

   Content you send: We store the messages you write in chat, viewing requests (name, email, phone and message), your profile photo and any reports you make about a conversation. Reports are reviewed by the Pelikani team and may include the latest messages of that conversation.

4. 11.4.

   Notifications: If you allow notifications, the app stores a notification token from Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) with your account so we can tell you about messages and viewings. The token is removed when you sign out; you can also turn notifications off in your phone's settings.

5. 11.5.

   Device identifier: When you are not signed in, the app sends a random identifier created on the device so that views of a listing are counted only once. It contains no personal data and is not used for advertising.

6. 11.6.

   Analytics and crash reports: The app uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics from Google. Analytics tells us how the app is used: screens opened, device type, system version and an approximate region based on the IP address. Crashlytics sends us technical reports when the app crashes. This data is not linked to your name or email, and Google processes it on Pelikani's behalf.

7. 11.7.

   Maps: Maps in the app are loaded from OpenStreetMap, which sees your device's IP address when it downloads map tiles. The app does not ask for or use your device's location.

8. 11.8.

   Advertising and tracking: The app shows no ads, does not collect your device's advertising identifier and does not track you across other apps or websites. We do not sell your data.

9. 11.9.

   Permissions: The app asks for access to your photos or camera only when you choose a profile photo, and for notification permission only if you want notifications.

10. 11.10.

    Deleting your account: You can delete your account in the app under Profile → Account Deletion. The account is closed immediately and can no longer be used; if you signed in with Apple, we also revoke the Apple connection. 30 days after the deletion we erase your personal data: your name, email, phone numbers, address, photo, Google and Apple connections, favourites, viewing history and notification tokens, as well as the listings you published. Messages you sent to agents and your viewing requests stay with them, shown as "Përdorues i fshirë" (deleted user) and without your contact details.
